Wheel Chair Basket Ball

Explain the physical activity you participated in.
I was participating in a sport similar to basket ball and basket ball is a team sport. Two teams of five players each try to score by shooting a ball through a hoop elevated 10 feet above the ground. The game is played on a rectangular floor called the court, and there is a hoop at each end. The court is divided into two main sections by the mid-court line. Just like this but with wheel chairs.

What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria).
I grade me a achieve because I tried as best as possible. I was contributing to the team and supporting them in some plays they made.

What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation).

Previous Experiences +
Fun/Enjoyment +
Well being +

Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)

My Previous Experiences had a positive impact in my participation because all I could do is start from the bottom and just go higher in my skill level. When you have never play an activity before something when you play it for the first time it's great because all you do is learn and improve on your skills and skill level, for example I didn't know how to do anything but by the end of the lesson I got the ball in the basket four times while playing wheel chair basket ball. This made me play more.

Fun And Enjoyment had a positive impact on my participation because when you are enjoying yourself you just want to keep playing cause how much fun you are having. In this lesson I got the ball in the basket three times, it was fun I was really enjoying myself and I just wanted to carry on and see if I could do it again and I did near the need of the game I got the ball in the basket for the fourth time in the lesson of wheel chair basket ball. This made me play more.

Well Being had a positive impact on my participation in this activity because I was just feeling good and was in a great head space and open to anything really. While I was just feeling really good it just made me want to learn as much as I could in this lesson of wheel chair basket ball. When I was playing I was enjoying myself and having a lot of fun and learn as much as possible, I demonstrated this in the lesson by getting the ball in the basket three time and I really enjoyed myself I wanted to see if I could do I again and I did near the end of the lesson. This made me play more.

How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?
I could bring skills that I learned in this lesson and modified it and improve it for me and maybe this is how I increase my participation for the future.

Tag

Explain the physical activity you participated in.
I participated in an activity/sport called tag. The objective is not to get get your tag ripped by the other team and score a try.It is a team sport and we played 5 v 5 and 6 v 6.

What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)
I believe I play at a merit level because I was motivated to and reliable to the activity I participated in. Also I was showing resourcefulness when I was participating in this activity.

What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation).

Equipment -
Sense of Achievement +
Environment +

Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)

Equipment had a negative impact on my performance because while the tags are my equipment and it always got ripped off by the other term. For example running from the half way mark and I was so cool to getting a try but the good player Autumn is she ripped my tag off and she prevented me from getting a try. This made me play less.

Sense of achievement had a positive impact on my performance because as a class we were playing but we were graded on our performance alone. As we were getting graded on the goals we choose for our-self, while this gave me the motivation to demonstration the goals I try and when I did I felt a sense of achievement. This made me play more.

Environment had a positive impact on my performance because it was a beautiful sunny day, the grass wasn't to long and my classmates was just ready to get into the activity. When it's sunny it is just pretty and put a shine on everything, with the grass not being to long it wasn't annoying and irritating. With the class ready to play, no one wasted any time and just got straight away. This made me play more.

How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?

I could possible be more active and maybe twist my hips more to try and prevent my tags being ripped off.

Hand Ball

Explain the physical activity you participated in.
I participated in an activity call hand ball, we played with six squares and most of the time we were playing with six people but then two more people joined in so it was 8 people playing handball. The rules are, we had to bounce the ball in our square first before bouncing it in someone else square if we didn't bounce it in our square first that is called a full, when it bounces in your square twice before you pass it that is call a double bounce and if it bounces in your square before going out the square that it just bounce in the person in that square is out.

What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria).

I think I participated in this activity with merit because I was motivated to participate in handball because this was the last reflection I needed to resubmit my reflections blogs. I also do the best I could considering I haven't played handball in like two - three years.

Equipment -
Sense of Achievement +
Environment +

Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)

Equipment had a negative impact on my participation in this activity because the equipment was a little tennis ball and I would miss the ball most of the time for like a good five minutes for example when the king (at this point in time ) jack served me the ball and I try to get it and pass it on but I totally miss it and I lose and had to start again. this made me play less.

Sense of Achievement had a positive impact on my participation in this activity because handball was my last reflection I needed to do before I resubmitted my 12 reflection bloggers things. This made me want to play more

Environment had a positive impact on my participation in this activity because I was really happy that my teacher is still willing to give me so many chances to get my credits and everyone was so hopeful with my participation stuff, they didn't go so hard on me because I was getting evaluated by my teacher. This made me play more.

Equipment-
Skill level-
Previous Experiences-

Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)
The equipment was a negative because it take the class 50 minutes to put the table together. For this reason I didn't play as much as I would if I had more time to learn how to play this activity.

My previous experience wasn't helpful because I have never played this game before until this day. For this, this caused me not to play that well.

My skill level was rubbish because I had never played table tennis before so my skill level wasn't ever at a level it was at 0.Which cause me to do okay but not my best.

How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?
I could be more positive and just do my best.
